Connor headed up the TEAM to provide SafeAssured ID kits to 26 at another local Senior Center on August 26th, again, keeping seniors safe!

Four TEAM members provided SafeAssured ID kits to a local Senior Center on August 23rd, helping keep seniors safe! 
"I have heard nothing but wonderful accolades from staff about . . . the Keeping Seniors Safe program! The disaster kits were a huge hit as was the identity programs at the sites. Thanks so much for partnering with PAA!!" Sharon Brandau, M.S., Director of Social Work, Peninsula Agency on Aging.
WOW! What do a group of teens and Home Depot have in common? Thanks to a grant from Home Depot, the Youth Disaster/Safety TEAM went shopping on July 22nd to purchase items to prepare home safety kits for seniors and disabled folk. Youth TEAM members are visiting seniors, performing home safety checks and delivering those home safety kits over the past few weeks. Check out the pictures below!
Justine, Latrice and Ashley presented the Masters of Disaster program at the Boys & Girls Club at Queens Lake Middle School on July 20th.
July 15th a group of youth including those from the Lighthouse Ministries helped the Hampton Clean City Commission to spruce up the grounds of a local elementary school!
Anas, Ashley, Justine and Taylor created SafeAssured ID kits for youth at the Boys and Club in Yorktown on July 15th.
